U12 & U13: plan to meet to study together

U12 & U13: Meet in library with past student from the class they are currently enrolled in

U12: gets out all of her class material including: study outline, textbook, notebook with post-its, and labtop

U13: Gets out study sheet and class notes with consolidated book notes

U12: receives other students notebook containing all materials from the course during the previous year

Intent: Start studying together         Trigger: prepared to study (all materials out)

U12 & U13: individually study the same section of review     

U12: Cross references all materials she has while augmenting her handwritten notes

U13: Reading through class notes and book notes while highlighting

Other student: studying for another class but present

Intent: Gain clarification & comprehension                    Trigger: confusion about specific topic

U12: asks U13 about a specific concept within review sheet

U13: either answers, or if neither know...

U12 & U13: both look through their study materials to locate an answer

U12 & U13: gestures (shapes in air), questions, and other mnemonics to facilitate comprehension

U12 & U13: if neither can decide on a definitive answer, reference "other students" notebook

U12 & U13: if still cannot find answer using materials then ask "other student"

Other Student: Usually had an answer if neither can decide

U12 & U13: if both agree that review sheet section has been fully covered move on to next section on review sheet

U12 & u13: repeat this process until entire review sheet has been accounted for
