U7 Sequence Models

 Trigger: final tomorrow       Intent: Study conceptual topics on outline

• Look at outline for topic that needs to be studied
• Studies all topics because wants to do well on exam

Trigger: Teacher Outline in Sequential order     Intent:  Learn First Topic

1. Find corresponding section in textbook that matches outline topic

2. Read Topic and highlight it

3. read paragraph below significant topic

4. as read paragraph, highlight important points/sentences/ etc.

5. highlight sentences that explain the conceptual topic in outline

Trigger: Complete previous topic      Intent: Learn next conceptual topic on outline

1. Look at outline to pick next topic in sequential order

2. Find corresponding section in textbook that matches outline topic

3. read paragraph below significant topic

4. as read paragraph, highlight important points/sentences/ etc.

5. highlight sentences that explain the conceptual topic in outline

**repeat this process until all conceptual topics on outline have been studied**

Trigger: Completed reading for all outlined topics      Intent: Memorize and Study Material

1. go to first topic read in textbook

2. look at highlighted portions of text

3. In MSword type up topic headline

4. under topic headline put bulleted points

5. bulleted points are delineated by highlighted portions in text

6. type up these highlighted portions verbatim (reproduction of text helps her memorize)

7. go through all outlined conceptual topics and highlighted portions of book in this method

Trigger: finish typing up all conceptual topic textbook notes        Intent: review these notes to better remember

1. print out these notes

2. take paper with all significant notes with her to review throughout the day

3. read through over and over throughout the day up until test
