Purpose: define how access able a user is to other users on the system

-Minimize unwanted distractions

Functions:

-defaults, customs

Enter/add/modify Media:

Purpose: allow the collective to efficiently put info in the system; interact with media to increase searchability and cross referencing and consolidation more effective for everyone

Functions:

-upload/import: notes, study sheets, figure, video, audio

-type notes, outlines directly in

-highlight collaboratively

-annotate with handwriting or type

-tag: keywords, rating system, editware, readware

-link media and concepts

-consolidate via word processer box

 

Find media:

Purpose: quick and efficient access to all class related media to aid in study

functions:

-Global search for keywords

-media arraged by class schedule/readings/concepts/topics/

-search through organized files

-search for consolidated

-search specific people's media

-recent edits

-browse all class

 

 

 

Ask a question

Purpose: bring the benefits of the group session to system users

functions:

-ask prof./ta class related questions

-embed media

-shared space/view

-real time audio

-post question to entire classmates

-quiz each other

-show to everyone

-submit discussion to questions archive

 

 

Consolidation

Purpose:

Collect and View media in an organized manner.

Functions:

-Browse media & import

-Super-organized Veiwing

-Memorize while cross referencing

-Annotate/tag/edit media

-Create outline while referencing all info

-Save organized layout
